The 13 x 13 Palladio Telescopic Umbrella offers an easy and functional telescopic opening system that enables easier closing over tables and chairs. Two opening mechanisms raise the top of the umbrella to clear the space below for outdoor furniture. The pole and ribs are constructed with a marine-grade Iroko wood. This wood is tough dense and very durable. Iroko wood is medium to coarse in texture with an interlocking grain that often produces interesting patterns. The color varies from pale golden brown to dark chocolate brown. The Iroko wood used in this umbrella is of lighter color and is individually selected to be suitable for use outdoors. A protective finish protects this wood from sun moisture and any kind of wood parasite. It is a stable wood resistant to compressions weights bending and hits thanks to its elasticity. Two self locking pulleys and pins open and secure the umbrella. Please note that at 2.25 inches in diameter this wider than average umbrella pole requires a wider umbrella base.

The Dupont Teflon coated fabric canopy is a solution-dyed acrylic fabric that is breathable and goes through an anti-mold treatment. A techno-guard finishing is applied to the canopy resulting in a fade resistant water oil and dirt repelling fabric. Vents in the canopy provide air passages to allow for more stability in heavier winds. You may carefully wash your canopy by using a mild soap and water solution and rinsing thoroughly.
