Two 3.5-inch-thick graphite-colored aluminum poles provide support. To retract the canopy simply use the pulley cords. This awning also tilts to the angle you need. The option of three different bases gives you versatile placement for your umbrella.Free Standing Base: Offset rigid aluminum base frames for use with 20-inch square patio pavers only. Base size is 20x42 inches. Requires minimum 6 pavers/300 lbs. per side.The Deckmount Base: Heavy-duty. 16 diam. x 0.25-inch-thick steel plates powder-coated in silver color to be mounted to any solid. Awning support tubes are quickly removable from plates to eliminate a possible tripping hazard.The Ground Insert Base: Stainless steel sleeves to be cemented into the ground.
