The Lumicon 1.5x - 1.8x Multiplier/Field Flattener Lens LL1020 has been custom computer-designed to increase image scale with the flattest possible field for photography with fast Newtonian Telescopes. This lens is suitable for use with f/3.5 to f/6 systems. It will turn an f/6 system into an effective f/9 or f/11 system. Excellent for planetary work and splitting double stars. Both lens surfaces are fully multicoated for minimal light loss.
The LL1020 may be used visually as well. The Lumicon Multiplier lens yields a flat field of optimum focus and is ideal for use with flat field eyepieces such as the TeleVue Naglers or Pentax XLs.
