Hand-painted dancers twirl to the melodies as the large carved cuckoo bird chimes in on cue. Two happy beer drinkers raise their steins to toast each full and half hours as the waterwheel turns gently. Watching is a trusty St. Bernard complete with her brandy keg and playful puppies.
This incredibly detailed clock features a hand-laid shingle roof and a design that reflects the Danish style. A hand painted tree and flowers complement the shuttered windows while the delicately carved eaves add an Old World charm. Scrolled wooden hands turn on the wood clock face with ornate Roman numerals. Three pinecone counterweights maintain precise time and feature eight-day movement. This clock also features an automatic evening shut-off for a quiet nights slumber.
