Mortise and tenon construction assures you this swing will have tight joints for a long time. A note about our commitment to the environment: Our Brazilian cherry outdoor furniture is manufactured from the Jatoba tree which is native to Central and South America especially the Amazon region of Brazil. Jatoba harvesting cutting and transportation is carefully controlled and overseen by IBAMA a Brazilian government agency. They inspect and certify logging sawmills and transportation of forest resources. Our manufacturing partner in Brazil uses only IBAMA-certified and approved suppliers of Jatoba. We are committed to the use of only certified lumber in the construction of our furniture.
