It is dipped in a tank of special electrophoretic paint solution and an electric current is run through it causing the charged paint particles to attract to the iron. The swing is removed and hung to dry. It is then baked in an oven at high temperatures. Finally it is powder coated and baked a second time. The end result is an extremely durable and weather-resistant finish that will look like new season after season.
