The Intruder was developed in response to a U.
S. Navy specification for an all weather carrier based attack aircraft to serve as a replacement for the World War II A-1Skyraider. The A-6 became the principal attack aircraft from the mid 1960s through the 1990s. The A-6 was able to deliver nuclear or conventional weapons on targets in darkness or in inclement weather.
This replica of the Intruder is carved from high impact resin and is completely hand painted for an authentic look.
