The Ambiance daybed is a fine example of excellent craftsmanship and design. The widely spaced spindles and curved arms are captivating and add to the safety of the daybed. For a child this daybed has few areas to bump into that aren't gently curved for a graceful yet comfortable frame. The Ambiance daybed is perfect for any child's room or guest room. Made of heavy gauge iron meticulously welded together by exacting craftsmen decoratively cast by hand-pouring technique. The daybed is then baked at extremely high temperatures in specialty ovens to produce a PowerBond™ finish - rich and superbly durable. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed.
