The American Civil War Chess Pieces are inspired by the great battles of the American Civil War. This historical set feature the Union Army dressed in dark blue and commanded by General Ulysses S. Grant and the Confederate army dressed in grey and commanded by General Robert E. Lee on the other side. Each piece is made of Oxo-Teak which is a special compound made of resin and crushed alabaster closely resembling ivory. The realistic museum reproduction coloring of these pieces looks astonishing and is painted by hand. Enjoy these pieces for many years to come.
