The American Landscape Porch Swing is a great alternative to a standard bench-type swing. The gently arched backrest of this porch swing complements the wide back supports for an appealingly classic look. Crafted from a durable Northern White Cedar it is resistant to moisture because of the natural oils it retains. The oils are also what give the cedar its strong scent that works to repel insects. If left untreated the oils will break down over time and the wood will age to a beautiful silvery gray. With the use of an oil or water-based sealer the weathering process will be delayed. Sway chains that attach to the front and back of the swing in an upside-down "Y" are included. Hanging chains and hooks are not included.
