It's made of an eco-friendly hardwood from rubber trees that have run out of sap and comes in five finishes: white natural maple light cherry caramel latte and antique walnut. This wood platform is available in Twin Full Queen and King sizes making it perfect for most traditional beds. This platform bed provides comfort with adaptability by allowing the opportunity to add a footboard or a flat-panel drawer. With its unique design and natural material the Windsor III Platform Bed makes for a restful calming presence in the bedroom. Plus it is easy to assemble. A hook-and-rail system provides lasting connection between the bed's joints while making disassembly a breeze. The pins also join this platform bed to its headboard and footboard. Atlantic's Unique Five-Step Finishing ProcessEach product in the entire line is finished with a high-build five-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding a wipe-on sealer is applied followed by a tinted sealer to even the grain and color of the wood. Additional sanding prepares the surface for the first base color coat more sanding and a second base color coat. After a final sanding the finish coat is applied. This process produces a beautiful and durable finish that will last for years.
