A bonnet is one of the most traditional pieces of clothing for a baby on his or her day of christening or baptism. A bonnet is designed to cover the baby's hair and ears but not the forehead making it ideal for a baptism. The main portion of this bonnet is made of damask with a slight pattern in the fabric which is trimmed in a strip of satin and features little bows where the bonnet would meet the baby's jaw line. Finally the bonnet is finished with a satin ruffle all the way around. A Bible verse is included as well as a presentation card so that baby and family will never forget it was from you.
