The stationary stick pole connects the chrome metal base to the head giving the lamp a pleasantly slender appearance. A full-range dimmer switch is located on the flat oval base. This lamp requires one 40-watt G9 halogen bulb (included) which is covered by a glass bulb shield for protection.
