Small and lightweight the Bogen Mini Video Head with Sliding Plate is capable of accommodating payloads up to nine pounds. This fluid video head is ideal for set-ups such as a fully loaded Panasonic DVX100A Sony PD170 and Canon GL2. The 701RC2 has a fixed length pan bar with a soft handle and separate locking mechanisms. It is also equipped with a sliding quick-release video plate system and a fixed counter-balance spring to perfectly position uneven loads.

The 701RC2 is one of the most compact and lightweight two-movement heads found on the market and was designed principally to support the latest digital video equipment including Mini DV and prosumer/professional grade DVCAMs. In addition the 701RC2 is well-suited for still photography cameras with medium and long telephoto lenses.
