Nicknamed the Vibrator by the pilots that flew it the BT-13 Valiant was the basic trainer aircraft most widely used by the USAAF during World War II. It featured a more powerful engine and was faster than other trainers of the time. This and other features made it a complex but effective pilot training aircraft.
