Fully-welded construction. Heavy gauge tubing. Solid bar wire. Arm height 37.5 inches. Clearance underneath the bed is 14-16 depending on the alignment holes used. The issue stemmed from the compression of the mattress. The manufacturer has addressed the issue and the mattresses will be a full 74 inches in length (standard twin size). Please remember that because this is a compressed mattress it requires 24 hours to fully expand to its actual size.
