The Stairway Special offers ideal safety for the top of a stairway. The ingenious latch system is tamper-resistant and it baffles toddlers while allowing one-hand operation for adults. The stop brackets keep the gate from opening the wrong direction over the stairway. Every component is made of aluminum so that it's lightweight and rustproof for use outdoors. It can mount at angles of up to 30 degrees to maneuver around studs when mounting on drywall. Mounting supplies are included but stainless steel hardware (sold separately) is recommended for outdoor mounting. Additional hardware kits are also available for other mounting options.
