Concorde Air France, part number TAMC128, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $144.99.
The Concorde is the most successful supersonic airliner to ever operate and one of only two types produced (the other being the Russian Tu-144). The product of a joint venture between British and French aircraft companies 20 Concordes were built and these were operated by three airlines one each in England France and the United States. Only one Concorde has ever crashed due to runway debris destroying a tire but the crash combined with an economic downturn in the early 21st century prompted the remaining two airlines operating the Concorde to retire the type in 2003. The famous Concorde is recreated here with painstaking detail and any buyer will appreciate the quality construction that has gone into the making of this model.
