Historical battles will abound with the Crusade Chessmen. Medieval characters from the Third Crusade are depicted in brilliant historical colors and hand-painted in intricate detail. This set includes two sides and has King Richard the Lionheart facing off against Saladin in an attempt to recapture the Holy Land. Both sides of the set include knights soldiers and castle turrets along with the two kings waged in a fight to the finish. This set includes your choice of boards (the walnut and high gloss boards include built-in storage drawers for pieces).
