Deep detailed engraving begins at the elegant crown and remains the most prominent feature of the chandelier. This elaborate engraving gracefully weaves all the way through a widened center column which is adorned with soft swirling circles and continues on to the supportive iron base and concludes with a delicate cross-hatched finial at the bottom. Four curved arms are swept away from the frame and are accented by a raised feathering technique; the stately arms provide a steady platform for a sophisticated arrangement of candle-shaped sockets that enrich the traditional appeal when illuminated by their corresponding bulbs.
