Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitches are custom fitted to your vehicle for easier installation. This square tube hitch with 2 inch receiver opening supports up to 5000 lbs of Maximum Gross Trailer Weight and 500 lbs of Maximum Tongue Weight. Adding a Weight Distribution System will increase the towing capacity to 6000 lbs of Gross Trailer Weight and 600 lbs of Maximum Tongue Weight.
The 1996-2001 Mercury Mountaineer SUV is a No Drill Application. The Ford models require drilling.
