Independent tread adjustment both inside and outside of the pool allows for bi-level adjustments between decks or patios and the pool bottom. A self-locking pin system allows treads to be removed for added protection from unauthorized pool entry. Specially designed swing-up treads secure the ladder when the pool is not in use.
