The Dimplex Neo-Classic Fireplace is truly a housewarming guest. Its dark wood finish and semi-modern design means that it is suitable for any home decor. The patented Multi-Fire effect gives off an amazing amount of radiance- it's like having a real wood-burning fireplace without the odor and the mess. Glowing embers will begin to show as the fire heats up adding to the realism. Another appealing feature is the ambient light effect which can be adjusted to get the perfect amount of light in the room. The intelligent heat feature quiets the internal fan and self adjusts to the desired temperature. The large heating area of 400 sq. ft. fills most large rooms. Upon entering the room an occupancy sensor can be set bringing the flames to a comfortable glow and the desired heat setting. The Purifire system filters allergens and air particles - see below and the 13-function remote control is ideal for adjusting the heat while channel surfing.The fireplace fan forces 5115 BTUs per hour and the fan can be turned on and off to allow for all-season use as well as to reduce heating bill costs. The hand-finished logs included are embedded with glow embers to give off a natural inner radiance. A programmable thermostat can be set and automatically adjusts room temperature.
