Ebony wood varies in color from red to black with a rich variety of dark shades. The light chessmen are made from boxwood a fine-grained hardwood with an ivory appearance and a natural luster. The king of this beautiful set of chessmen stands 5.5 inches tall with a base diameter of 1.7 inches. Made in India. Teak box dimensions: 24L x 11W x 3H inches.
