The Videolupe is the first combined optical and electronic illuminated magnifier! It combines the ease of an illuminated stand magnifier with the increased magnification of a video magnifier in one easy-to-use product. When looking through the lens 3x (7.6D) of magnification is provided and the image is illuminated by new LED technology that features nearly unlimited bulb life. When plugged into any television's video input jack the image is projected onto the screen at a magnification of between 8.5x and 16.5x (depending on the size of the television). By having this dual-viewing feature one can look through the lens to orient themselves on the page and then look at the television to read the text or view the image. This eliminates the disorientation some suffer with mouse-type video magnifiers.
