Catalog description

Farberware Classic 1.5 Quart Covered Straining Saucepan, part number FRB031, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $27.99.

Versatile and handy the Farberware Classic 1.5-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan will make a welcome addition to your kitchen. This clever design is equally adept at straining pouring or covered cooking with a deep-rimmed lid that boasts optional straining holes. To strain simply align the holes with the pan's pour spouts. For covered cooking all you need to do is rotate the lid to close the holes in order to keep moisture inside the pan. Remove the lid and use the built-in pour spouts to pour.

This saucepan features a full cap base advantage; a stainless steel protector surrounds a thick aluminum core providing easy maintenance and superior heat distribution. Thicker rolled pan rims offer extra durability and enhanced drip-free pouring. The unique straining lid and classically styled phenolic handle are oven-safe up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This pan is dishwasher-safe for your convenience. It comes to you backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

About FarberwareIn 1900 a tinsmith named S.

W. Farber set up a shop in Manhattan where he started a small business making bowls and vases out of hand-pounded sheets of copper and brass. Since that time the Farberware company has grown exponentially; in 1930 they introduced their first line of percolators adding small appliances to the list of items for which they are known. In today's market Farberware is valued for its product innovation; over the years they have been responsible for such designs as the electric fry pan with removable probe for easy cleaning or the Open Hearth smokeless broiler. Quality classic styling and years of tradition go into each Farberware product. With Farberware you know you're not just buying a piece of cookware you're buying a legacy of great value.
