Its so sensitive it picks up even the quiet sounds your baby makes then radial arc lights on the receiver make it easier for you to see those sounds from a greater distance.

For your convenience an extra receiver is included with this monitor. Leave one centrally located in the house and take the other receiver with you as you move through the house or into the yard; or keep one with you and give the second to another care-giver. Receivers are AC-powered or battery-powered for portability. Durable flexible antennas allow for greater range and excellent clarity and two channels minimize interference. Low power indicators let you know when its time to replace the batteries. For added convenience a nightlight for babys room is built into the transmitter. Transmitter operates on AC current. Receivers operate on AC current or 3 AAA alkaline batteries each (not included).
