Add a pleasant splash of color. Hand-painted flowers on the Alpine Rose and Bird Cuckoo Clock bring extra appeal to your decor. A cottage frame is surrounded by large leaves that are hand-carved from linden wood harvested from the Black Forest in Germany. Perched atop the rooftop is a hand-carved bird readying its wings for flight. The roses on each leaf and on the pendulum below catch the eye and bring it in to enjoy the fine craftsmanship. The wooden clock face is in the middle of a cross-hatch panel and features European-style Roman numerals and scrolled hands. Inside the clock are high-quality German mechanics so it keeps impeccable time. At each hour a little cuckoo peeks out to announce the time. The clock operates on a daily cycle and you begin operation by pulling down the decorative pinecones. This cuckoo clock will give your decor a welcome addition of bright color on dark finished wood.
