A small group of artists each trained in the Russian techniques of decoration and story painting has meticulously hand-painted each figurine to create an exact likeness of the original. This painting is done free-hand in three to nine layers of color resulting in a rich color palette reminiscent of the ones used in Russian art villages. Because of the strict attention to detail that goes into creating each of these figurines quantities are limited.
