Made from Brazilian cherry wood the Gardenia Garden Chair is attractive durable and comfortable. Designed with subtle Italian flair it features a slatted backrest and seat with ever-so-slight curves for comfort. The straight lines slight curves and cherry wood give this a warm contemporary feel. The color will change evenly over time to a silvery gray. Water-based or oil stains will delay the weathering process. Simple assembly required and all hardware is included. A note about our commitment to the environment: Our Brazilian cherry outdoor furniture is manufactured from the Jatoba tree which is native to Central and South America especially the Amazon region of Brazil. Jatoba harvesting cutting and transportation are carefully controlled and overseen by IBAMA a Brazilian government agency. They inspect and certify logging sawmills and transportation of forest resources. Our manufacturing partner in Brazil uses only IBAMA-certified and approved suppliers of Jatoba. We are committed to the use of only certified lumber in the construction of our furniture.
