The Heirloom Cedar Chest is hand-crafted in America using solid American Red Oak and genuine American Red Oak veneer. An interior lining of fragrant cedar keeps away pests and provides a pleasant scent every time you open the chest. Ornate antique handles add character and intricate hand carvings make this a piece that will be cherished just as much as its contents. Most of the hardware is pre-installed for quick and easy assembly that takes approximately 15 minutes. A full-length brass piano hinge provides fantastic lid support and two slow-close safety hinges are installed inside.

For extra durability a sturdy dowel and European cam-lock construction is used. The beautiful polyurethane finish is environmentally friendly and resists stains for a magnificent look.
