What We Like About This Trestle TableThe Mountain Retreat Trestle Table is part of the Mountain Retreat Collection which hearkens back to Old World Standards of fine furniture craftsmanship. This refined yet rustic collection features pegged joinery and generously scaled turnings. Each hand-hewn top is crafted from knotty birch solid and knotty rogue cherry veneers which are enhanced with golden oil rubbed into the surface resulting in a warm distinctive Indian Summer color. The final step is a layer of hand-rubbed wool and beeswax to achieve a distinctive relaxed patina.
