Less is more and austere is awesome with the Helix Bed from Fashion Bed Group. At first glance this metal-frame bed has a striking contemporary design with sharp angles and bare-bones style. Square tubing creates the 52-inch high headboard and 32-inch high footboard. It's finished in a blend of copper silver and black called copper chrome that looks like unfinished steel from a distance. (And it looks great in almost any decor.)But amidst this cool industrial design you'll find a little warmth too and that's what makes the Helix such a must-have. A twist design is woven into the top rails and the locked spindles feature small dough-boy knobs over the castings just like you'd find in antique furniture. You can order the complete Helix bed or the headboard only and it's available in a variety of sizes. Austere is always in when it's got a little character.
