Like all pieces in the Highland Home collection by Liberty Furniture this sleigh bed is constructed of birch solids and okume veneers. Warm pinkish brown hues underlie the richly grained Highland Cherry finish. The corners of the thick frame feet are flattened at an angle to emphasize the refined craftsmanship of this sleigh-style bed. As a complement to the cases in this collection the base of the footboard and side panels curve gracefully into small notches before sloping toward the floor.
