Durable construction and a casual but beautiful design characterize the Highland Park Dresser. This dresser like the other cases in Vaughan's Highland Park bedroom furniture collection features mortise-and-tenon construction with reinforced corners for additional support. The barrel-pewter finish on the cup pulls enhances the intricately cut shell design. A walnut-finished laser-cut grill embellishes the optional landscape mirror.

All nine wood drawer interiors feature French dovetail construction and wood-on-wood guides as well as glue blocking. The dresser features a two-tone finish with walnut veneer on the top and cherry veneer on the bottom. A multi-step finishing process culminating in two protective topcoats reflects the labor of burnishing and hand-padding. Slight highlighting antiquing and dry-brushing add to the casual flavor of the dresser and the frame of the optional mirror.
