The Hon 600 Series 42 Inch Four Pull Out Shelves and One Drawer Lateral File is a unique solution for making frequent filing easier and faster. The top four drawers flip up and recede back into the cabinet revealing full extension roll-out shelves that are ideal for intensive daily use. This file cabinet is made of heavy-duty steel and also has one fixed front drawer on the bottom. A posting shelf in the middle conveniently rolls out to hold your papers while filing and adjustable side-to-side hangrails hold hanging legal- or lateral-size files. The three-part telescoping slide suspension system operates smoothly on whisper-quiet steel ball bearings. The drawer extension restraint system prevents tipping by using a mechanical interlock that allows only one drawer to open at a time. Leveling glides adjust for uneven floors to further ensure stability. The drawers are equipped with bright anodized aluminum pulls with label holders and all drawers conveniently lock using a single One Key core removable lock for complete security when needed.
