A highly polished Windsor Cherry finish enhances crotch mahogany accents framed by a satin border and a decorative inlay of maple padauk avodire pear boxwood prima vera rosewood and pecan wood types. Two beveled glass windows offer a priceless look into the intricate workings of the solid polished brass movement coordinating perfectly with the inside bottom of the case and sturdy feet. A hinged back door provides convenient storage for the winding key while an ornate brass Roman numeral dial with a pierced cast and intricate base carvings complete the precious details. The triple-chime key-wound movement offers an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option.
