With its rich espresso finish and interesting curved and slatted frame the Hudson Daybed makes an excellent guest room sofa/bed combination. It is crafted from wood and is available with a pull-out trundle bed option for accommodating another guest. The Hudson features a link spring to support a twin mattress which is also available at checkout. Easy assembly. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin size daybed into a king size bed.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses. Mattress included is the Super Sleep Mattress. Perfectly sized for bunk beds trundles or daybeds the Super Sleep Mattress is a good-quality twin mattress with a gray cover. The Sta-rite inner quilted cotton pad offers extra comfort and a rolled innerspring with 288 coils provides medium-firm support. The cover is smooth with a single taped edge.
