The Hylming Room Divider provides a snapshot of a bustling and storied Asian empire. Coromandel screens such as the Hylming are hand-crafted and carved by traditional Asian methods then painted with colors and accented by gold leaf. The Hylming is a Coromandel screen which refers to the Coromandel trading station on the south Indian coast from which Asian art objects were originally shipped to the West. Hylming's rich black base makes the gold leaf come alive and brings amazing depth and detail to each nuance. The room divider is superbly crafted from pine wood.
