The Basic In-Ground Pet Fencing System provides protection and freedom for your favorite pooch. The dog fence consists of a buried yard wire connected to an indoor radio transmitter. When the dog approaches the wire a special collar worn around his neck delivers a brief harmless correction that discourages him from crossing the boundary. Wireless systems use a constant radio signal to create a "stay zone." When your pet leaves the area he receives a mild correction until he returns.
