The bed includes wood slat roll mattress supports that eliminate the need for box springs or bunkie boards. The Hi-Lo adjustable locking system allows the bed to work safely with or without a box spring. The Hi-lock position raises the bed to accommodate under bed storage or sleep options. The pull-out trundle conveniently rolls underneath the daybed when not in use and quickly rolls out to create an additional sleeping surface for a guest.
