These chess pieces are an anthropologist's find. While they are not the originals which were found on the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of Scotland they are painstakingly handcrafted and accurate reproductions. These chessmen are cast in ground stone and have an authentic look and texture that will give you a lifetime of enjoyment. They ivory and earthen stone figures are illustrated in an near-ancient style for a truly unique atmosphere while playing. Available with a 3.5 inch king. By the way the originals are now housed safely in the Museum of London.
