Crafted from worm wood the case is finished in a dark antique wash and features a built-in red felt compartment ideal for storing pieces (accommodates up to a 3.75-inch tall king). The board itself is made from solid brass with alternating dark and light squares for a traditional look. This is a handsome heirloom-quality board that will provide years of enjoyment. Made in Italy.
