Countries handcrafted from 25 types of semi-precious gemstones are surrounded by vast deep blue oceans made of crushed lapis. The globe surface is protected by 10 coats of clear lacquer which impart a lustrous sheen to bring out the brilliant colors of the stones. Lines of latitude and longitude are clearly visible as are country names and other salient details.

This large globe spins on an ornate brass stand that has been electroplated with real gold and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The full meridian and horizon encircle the globe with functional style. This globe is accompanied by a Gemstone Chart and a Certificate of Authenticity.
