Bamboo is actually a grass that renews itself in nature and is environmentally friendly to harvest. Harder than maple lighter than oak and resistant to scratches and moisture bamboo makes the ultimate chop block. The Key West Series Butcher Block is hand-crafted from end-grain bamboo in a beautiful cross-section pattern. These blocks wipe clean easily with a mild detergent. The rich natural caramel color is created by heating the sugar compounds in the bamboo and involves no dyes or artificial processes. Available in your choice of solid or two-tone colors.
