The soft semi-aniline leather has been completely dyed through to achieve consistent creamy cappuccino color and is then lightly coated with polyurethane for protection. Fluffy and well-tailored envelope arms act as built-in pillows. The sturdy frame is made of beech and ash wood and reinforced with heavy-duty corner blocks. The entire frame is encased and covered with 1 inch of foam to supply a soft yet firm sensation when you touch the back and sides. The generous seat cushions have a resilient polyurethane foam core and Dacron fiberfill topping for added padding. The back cushions have horizontal and vertical bags stuffed with Dacron fiber to ensure an even distribution of padding that will stay dispersed over time. Each seat is supported by five heavy-duty nine gauge steel sinuous springs that will never sag. This sofa stands on chunky solid wood feet for a sleek finished contemporary look.
