Hillsdale Mason Daybed, part number HL467, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $489.99, down from a high of $1409.99.

The Mason Daybed by Hillsdale is constructed of solid pine and has a graceful Victorian style about it. Full-bodied panels on the back and sides create a substantial portion of this bed frame. Gorgeous spindles and wood work accents finish off the fabulous look throughout the daybed. A dark pine finish is used to add an extra touch of luxury. Clearance underneath the bed is 14-16 inches depending on the alignment holes used. The clearance is large enough to store the optional pop-up trundle underneath great for an added bed for those unexpected guests. The recommended weight for either the support system or optional trundle is 200-250 pounds. Some assembly required. *Note: Trundle and Mattress are both optional and not included with basic set. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal pop-up-style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed.

Optional mattress is the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress. Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
