Barlow Lenses are now in use with thousands of amateur astronomers throughout the world. These lenses increase the power obtained with any given eyepiece while maintaining excellent image quality. Precise corrections for spherical and chromatic aberrations at all photo-visual wavelengths result in sharp high-resolution performance on telescopes of any optical design. Our Barlow Lenses are multi-coated for maximum contrast and light transmission. Meade's #127 2X-3X variable Barlow Lens includes a precision sliding lens assembly permitting continuously variable power factor between 2X and 3X. Positive stops are provided at both ends of lens travel and an engraved scale indicates the power in use. Clear aperture is 25mm weight is 6.5 ounces and the unit is 5 inches long. This popular high-performance Barlow is recommended for use on telescopes with focal ratios of f/6 and longer. It is not recommended for use with Meade ETX-70/90/105/125 telescopes.
