The diagonal mirror permits use of wide-field 2-inch eyepieces on Meade LX200 and LX90 telescopes to give you a wider field of view.
Featuring a UHTC-coated (95 percent-plus reflectivity) precision optical flat made at the Meade factory the diagonal mirror threads onto the rear cells of LX200 and LX 90 scopes. It includes an adapter to use with 1.25-inch eyepieces. It also works with microfocusers.
