The Merlot Andiron features a twisted main bar topped by a unique coil. Beautiful scrollwork on the bottom creates a timeless quality. Crafted from hand-forged iron these andirons have an antique black and natural rust finish for an old-fashioned style. Traditionally andirons were used to hold the logs inside the fireplace allowing them to burn correctly. They also kept the logs from rolling out onto the floor. Over time cast iron grates have mostly replaced this timeless piece. Bring back tradition with this pair of Merlot Andirons.
